京都を拠点に創作和菓子を発表する日菓(にっか)の初作品集。
作品のモチーフは、何気ない日常のひとコマ。見過ごしてしまいがちなシーンを丁寧にすくい上げ、思わずクスッと笑ってしまう愛らしい意匠に仕立てている。
作品約80点のほか、アイデアスケッチや制作風景も収録。
